Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our chairs, delivery, warranty and more.

Warehouse Sale

Why are warehouse sale chairs discounted?

Warehouse sale chairs are brand new, premium chairs — not refurbished or seconds. They were manufactured for commercial projects and have been in stock in our warehouse, so we offer them to the public at deep discounts. Once they're gone, they're gone.

Will warehouse sale items be restocked?

Warehouse sale items are limited stock. Because many are discontinued models or overstock, we can't provide a restocking timeline — most won't be restocked once sold out.

What warranty do warehouse sale chairs come with?

Warehouse sale chairs are covered by a 5-year comprehensive warranty. Chairs in our main range are covered by our lifetime structural warranty.

Can shipping be discounted on warehouse sale orders?

Shipping is calculated automatically by our logistics partner and chairs are delivered fully assembled, ready for immediate use. As the chairs themselves are already deeply discounted, we're unable to discount the delivery charge.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to metropolitan and regional areas across VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, ACT and TAS. If you're in WA or NT, please contact us — we can arrange delivery and process your order manually.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders are dispatched within 5–10 business days from our facility in Kyneton, Victoria. Freight charges are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Do the chairs arrive assembled?

Yes — our chairs are delivered fully assembled and ready for immediate use.

Choosing Your Chair

What's the difference between the Action and the Discover?

The Action comes standard with seat depth adjustability and thicker seat foaming, with a more traditional look. The Discover has a more modern, squarer design with a higher backrest, a 3 lever mechanism (height, seat tilt, backrest tilt) and optional seat depth adjustment. The Discover's seat height ranges from 450mm to 580mm.

Should I choose the Magic or the Icon?

The Magic suits slight to solid builds and average to tall heights. The Icon is the more compact design, suiting slight and shorter to average height occupants.

Should I choose the Project or the Capital?

The Project High has more pronounced thoracic and lumbar support and is very popular with female occupants. Taller and larger occupants tend to favour the Capital, which has a more gentle, flatter backrest and a 210kg load rating. For occupants near the upper load rating we don't recommend the seat slide function.

Does the Zen chair have lumbar support?

Yes — the backrest shape and mesh upholstery provide good lumbar support. It doesn't have adjustable lumbar support; if that's what you're after, consider the Storm.

Not sure which chair suits you?

Fill out our Chair Profile and we'll recommend the right chair for your build, height and workstation.

Chair Options & Customisation

What seat heights are available?

Standard height suits a standard desk height of approximately 720mm. An intermediate height gaslift (590–780mm) and drafting height (approximately 600–900mm seat-to-bench) are available on selected chairs — drafting options appear on the product page, or contact us for other configurations.

Can castors be changed or removed?

Yes. Castors are removable and can be replaced with glides at no extra cost. Hard castors suit carpeted and soft surfaces; soft castors suit hardwood and hard surfaces — soft, braking and lockable castors are available for a small additional charge. Contact us when ordering.

What's the difference between a 4-star and 5-star base?

A 4-star base is swivel only. A 5-star base is swivel with gas height adjustment and tilt.

Can I choose my own fabric?

Yes. Our house fabrics are high commercial-grade fabrics, pre-selected to suit a wide range of preferences and readily available. We also work with a range of Australian and international fabric suppliers for custom upholstery, including wool and wool-blend ranges, PU, vinyl and genuine leather. Contact us for custom fabric pricing.

Quality & Warranty

Are your chairs AFRDI certified?

Our chairs aren't AFRDI certified — we conduct our own testing which exceeds both Australian and international strength and durability standards, and selected models are AFRDI compliant (meeting all testing requirements). All main-range chairs are backed by our lifetime structural warranty.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?

Our lifetime structural warranty covers manufacturing defects. It doesn't cover damage from misuse or general wear items. Warehouse sale chairs carry a 5-year comprehensive warranty.

Sustainability

Are your chairs recyclable?

We use virgin material in chairs like the Laugh to maintain strength and durability — they're not made from recycled material, but they are fully recyclable at end of life.

What happens to my old chairs?

We offer a chair recycling program: we assess the value of your old chairs, and when we deliver your new ones we collect the old. Chairs in usable condition are donated to local councils, CFA charities and community organisations; the rest are properly segregated so steel, aluminium, plastics and packaging are recycled.

Troubleshooting

My chair is stuck tilted backwards

The chair is locked in the reclined position. Lean back in the chair to take tension off the mechanism, then release the locking lever — the backrest will free-float back to upright, where it can be locked again.

My chair slowly sinks down

The chair may have been adjusted past its highest setting. On the Hero, listen for a click after each height adjustment — there are four settings. If it drops after the fourth, start the adjustment again from the lowest position and stop at the last click.
